Tough and waterproof, the Skill GT from Zamberlan holds the foot firmly for a precise fit while Vibram outsoles provide superb traction for hiking and moderate backpacking.Features/Benefits:

Zamberlan boots are extremely comfortable especially for long mountaineous hikes in all kinds of weather. The leather is very strong and breaks in just right. Really a super nice boot.

These are superbly made boots, and the concept of a slightyl low cut, somewhat lighter weight backpacking/hiking boot is fine. However, the boots apply pressure to the outside of both big toes. Simply will not work for long hikes. This is for me. Advise careful examination before buing...this criticism may not apply to everyone's feet. But others have foung the same problem.
