I have used Pearl Izumi bike shorts for several years and liked them. I bought Attack shorts last year and they were great. This year I bought another pair and after 15 miles I had bad chafing under the chamois. After three rides like that, I held my old shorts up to the new ones, and the new ones were 2 inches larger at the waist (XL size). I switched back and forth and the new ones were definitely much looser which caused the chafing. I'm going to return them.
