This is my First paddle and I have spent about 100 hours paddling with it. It's been great for day trips on flat water and even a super choppy day on the Potomac. Couldn't give it 5 stars because I am sure that there are better paddles out there but as a beginner and for the price, this does everything I expect it to do.
