Ideal for running in cold weather, our Excel Wind Barrier blocks wind from your core, keeps moisture on the move, maintains breathability, and stretches for easy movement.Features/Benefits:
- Wind- and water-resistant front, top shoulder, and top sleeve panels made from a blend polyester and polyurethane
- Moisture-wicking back and side panels, and bottom sleeve panels made from soft polyester and spandex—stretch allows freedom of movement
- Breathable, quick-drying fabric for dry comfort
- Thumb loops for hand warmth and ease of layering—keep sleeves in place

I live along Lake Erie and it's windy year round. If used for long runs with a wind chill at or below freezing, regardless of base layers, it needs a wind coat over top. Breezes/winds over 10-15 mph cut right through it if you have any sweat going. For short runs it's perfect, but long runs, its limited to an in between layer.

Great piece of clothing. Bought on sale as it is pricey as all performance wear is. However EMS has much lower prices and great attire. I have no complaints with this article of clothing. I bought a second one actually. Great for layering or wearing as an outer layer on just cool days. It's a STEAL on SALE!! Shipped in two days as always. EMS is my one stop shop!

Great shirt, have been using it for years for hiking in winter. Find it effective over a base layer and under a NF Apex Jacket for temps from below zero to the high 20s.
