Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Titan Jacket:
Got this on sale recently so I haven't had much opportunity to use it in extremely cold conditions. It's been pretty comfortable around freezing. The wonderful hood kind of makes you look like a teletubby, but it's so warm and comfy that you don't care.
This may be a issue just for my body type: I'm fairly slim so the jacket feels generous around the trunk (which is good for layering). But it feels relatively tighter just under the armpits (which is less good for layering).

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Titan Jacket:
Second one I have had, more pockets this time.
I use for everyday where. Use the hood sporadically as needed. Much better then fleece lined ones. Easy to take on and off. My shoulders are not as maneuverable as when I was younger!

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Titan Jacket:
This is a great winter jacket. EMS has made a quality jacket that is comfortable outside skiing and while driving a vehicle. Living in New England I prefer the synthetic over down because conditions are often wet and cold in the winter. The hood fits well, and I appreciate the details such as lining the pockets and hood with soft material. The only potential improvement to the jacket might be armpit zippers. This jacket is such a good value especially at the sale price that I have bought 4 of them. One for me, and the rest for my sons.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Titan Jacket:
I have had this jacket for two winters of daily use as a dog sledding guide in northern Minnesota. Just back from a camping trip with nights at 36 below zero. With good layering underneath, this jacket has been my go-to, reliable parka. Not too bulky, reliably warm, tall zipper to cover the chin, zippered pockets in all the right places, well insulated hood. The only down side is the ugly colors they come in - otherwise I'd buy another one for the day when this one wears out (not anytime soon, but its hard to find a good, warm, well-built winter parka that will hold up to abuse without being too bulky for a pack). This jacket, after hard use, with dogs jumping on it, whacking through brush, standing around campfires and being stuffed and unstuffed a billion times is still going strong. Make it in blue next year, and I'll buy two.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Titan Jacket:
I still wear a circa 1974 North Face Sierra jacket. Guess you could say I am OLD school. When I received the Titan I was not impressed...... but when the temps dropped to the single digits in West Virginia last week I finally gave it a try. So glad I did. Looks are deceiving. This jacket is very warm, comfy to aound 10 degrees with just a sweater. Very windproof and the hood may be the best I've ever worn. Definitely hooked on this jacket.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Titan Jacket:
A great purchase. Well made. Fleece around neck is a nice touch when you have the jacket zipped up to the top. Synthetic fill is better than down when it gets wet. I was an avid puffy down jacket person until I bought this coat. I couldn't believe how warm this coat keeps me given its lightweight and thin lining. Only negative is the zipper sometimes is difficult to catch - a small annoyance that I have now figured out the "magic" touch to get it to work every time.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Titan Jacket:
One of my favorite jackets by EMS.
Best value for what you get especially after the end of the season sell.
I love having a hood which the Heater and Mercury jackets don't have (The Heater and Mercury jackets makes excellent mid wear).
Being mildly allergic to down, primaloft is an excellent alternative.
