Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Wind Pro Touchscreen Gloves:

Wore these for the first time today and my fingertips froze at the index and thumb tips. Checked the material and it is less insulated than the rest of the glove. The sewing of the touch sensitive fabric to the glove is not the best at the bulky seam which can get annoying.

            Returning.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Wind Pro Touchscreen Gloves:

As the headline says, I wanted to like these and when i first unpacked them I liked the material, and putting them on they were comfortable up to a point.

The etip finger reminds me of being in the ER where they put a close-pin type device on your finger to track your pulse. not comfortable at all. Whomever designed those must like having their finger in a vice, but i didn't.

The Etip just didn't work either. TNF has this tech down and is comfortable.

I bought a pair of Power Stretch TNF gloves that work great, so I am going to return these and hope next year they do a redesign and I can look into these because the con on the TNF pair is they are not very warm and don't cut wind.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Wind Pro Touchscreen Gloves:

These were a gift replacing a similar EMS pair that I have had for years (and still use). The biggest difference is the touch screen finger tips. I do not need this feature, but I admit I have used it. There is a seam inside the glove where the different fabric attaches which is a bit annoying. That is my only complaint which prompted the four stars and not five.
Otherwise great gloves. I use them for winter hiking, snowshoeing, and everyday use.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Wind Pro Touchscreen Gloves:

I use the gloves primarily for running and biking. For this application they are decent. In fact, I can wear them biking in 40 degree temps and my hands do stay warm.

Unfortunately, the e-tips do not function very well and that is the only reason I bought them. At first the e-tips were hit or miss - sometimes working, sometimes not. When they did work, the fingertips are too bulky to do much outside of just swiping and pressing large buttons. Now they don't work at all.

The windpro works well except where the eTips are...they do not seem to have same insulation since they get cold at these points. The eTips also do not work very well and are too bulky for doing much typing...even swiping to turn on my iPhone is hit and miss. They need to be less bulky and have windpro throughout glove. Nice concept, but poor execution. I will be returning them.

These are great gloves. Warm & work well with my devices. Sometimes the tips aren't very accurate and if you are outside & its really cold it has a hard time connecting with my iPhone. But overall I really like them.

I bought these for my husband who is an avid iPhone user and works outside. From the moment he tried them on the touch feature did not work. Fortunately, EMS is good about returns and refunds.

these are decent gloves for the price. The E-Tip doesn't function that well and the material has less insulation than the rest of the glove. The heavy seam at the joint gets a little annoying.

The gloves do work very well for commuting and shot exposure times. I will get a different pair for long days in the cold when i need e-tip function.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Wind Pro Touchscreen Gloves:

This is the second pair of EMS windproof gloves I have owned. They're the best combination of warmth with lightweight flexibility that I've found. I ripped some holes in my old pair, and it seems like the only option now is for the touch-screen style gloves.

The touch-screen tips worked for about a week, but they have completely stopped working on my iPhone. Now that the finger tips don't work on the touch screen, they are bulky and often get caught on the velcro wrists of my (EMS brand) shell.
