The only reason why I didn't give these five stars is because the elastic on the inside must be white because i had some white peaking out of the gloves after the first use, other than that i love them.

these are very cute and comfortable but after only 2 weeks of wearing them they began to get holes in them. I have a huge hole in the mitten part where my fingers touch it. And these mittens did not get heavy use, by any means.

They are great for everyday use. They are thin enough in between the fingers that the mittens can actually keep the tips of my fingers warm. I can use my fingers when needed and my fingers are warm under the mittens when not in use. I have had multiple pairs of these over the years and couldn't be happier with them.

I got these so I could use my smartphone without taking my gloves off, and I couldn't find any of the gloves with the special fingers for swiping your devices that I liked. But now I have them, I find myself flipping off the mitten part to dig my keys out of my purse, get the mail - anytime I need finger maneuverability. Oh, and to use my phone! They are mid-weight warm, although the tips of my fingers do feel a bit chillier sometimes. The only drawback is the wool began to pill after just a week or two of wear. Not crazy bad, but still, I expect better from EMS.

I returned these and went with the fleece variety instead. The wool content made them a little itchy for me. For my intended use these were going to get dirty too fast. I also preferred a magnet rather than the button to hold open the mitten, and a design that allows you to uncover the thumb. But they would be O.K. for non-sporty, non-work use.
