love scarpa, they seem to fit my wide feet perfectly. i've had the boostics for almost a year now and loved them and wanted to try another pair of scarpas. i tried getting the instincts in the same size, which was a 38.5 (very tight fit, 8.5 - 9 street) but my heel left some space in the back. i had to down size half a size to 38. the instince looked a little longer than the boostics when i put them next to each other. hope this helps u guys decide wat size u need.

I purchased these so that I can send my Mocc's in for a resole, and they work similarly, but have a few differences. A higher heal rand can make it slightly more uncomfortable, but serves to effectively push your toes forward. Easy on and off! The Vibram XS Grip sole seems okay, but isn't as sticky as Stealth C4. As for sizing, I wear a size 10 street shoe (EU 44) and wear a 7 in the Moccs and a EU42 in the Instinct S.
