Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Techwick Midweight One-Piece Suit:
A onesie/Union Suit made out of the awesome T2 weight Teckwick Base layer? Yes please! I was really excited when I saw this in stores. T2 mid-layers are one of the best all around, inexpensive midweight base layers out there. Two-way front zip and zippered butt flap make nature breaks easy! I think this piece is going to make a nice addition to someone that already has a decent base layer quiver. Certain movements (namely bending over/reaching up) cause the crotch of the suit to ride up; this is to be expected in a one piece. Still, this is a fun piece and while I don't think I'll use it for ice climbing, I think it will be awesome for extra cold nights in camp or as classy pajamas.
Pros
- Easy access
- Form fitting
- Lightweight
- Warm
Cons
Best Uses
- Skiing
- Sub-zero Hiking
Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Techwick Midweight One-Piece Suit:
Have taken the one-piece techwick out into -20 wind chills and it performed great. In fact, it's borderline too warm if the temp isn't really cold. Very nice that it keeps snow from leaking down the back of your pants when you wreck while skiing or riding. Also form-fitting where it counts and comfortable while doing such things as ice climbing. Hightly recommend this item for the ultra-cold winter days.

Cons
- Sizes run large
Best Uses

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Techwick Midweight One-Piece Suit:
I use the suit as thermal underwear. One piece suits are the best when it comes to staying warm while maintaining comfort. The fabric is light but effective. It has some give, but it's not stretchy - very unique. It adds no bulk and can easily be worn under office-casual clothes. Make sure you order at least one size smaller than you usually do; this suit seems to run large. I'm 5'9" with an athletic build and I usually get a large in union suits, but I had to exchange a medium for a small. Even the small doesn't fit too tight.
Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Techwick Midweight One-Piece Suit:
I am 6'3" 190lbs so I ordered the large - it is way too loose in the top part of the suit. I hesitate to order a smaller size for fear of it being too short. Returning item...

Cons
- Could Use A T-neck

- Comfy jammies
- Winter Dayhikes Below 20f
Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Techwick Midweight One-Piece Suit:
Received the suit a couple weeks ago. It fits great, which is hard for me as I have a long back. Techwick fabric is really nice and will be good for moderate activity in the cold, or start/stop activities like lift-served skiing. Biggest plus for me is eliminating the gap that always manages to open up right at the bottom of my pack! Fit is fairly roomy but not stretchy, so might not be the best for ice climbing or mountaineering requiring a close fit and stretch. Haven't had the opportunity to try it in the field yet. Only real concern is lack of coverage in the neck area- could use a higher neck. Also could use a slightly longer front zipper or fly for quick pitstops.
Would be great to make one of these for women- my wife is always cold and would love this- plus she'd look great!
