Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Divergence Pro Jacket:
This is a very nice jacket that can serve as a layer or on its own. I have used it primarily as a light jacket for day hikes, around the campsite, or in the canoe of a morning or late afternoon.
It allows a full range of motion, and the zippers are easily accessible for breathablility.

Cons
- Fit is poor
- Overal Finishing Lacking
- Pit Zips Finished Poorly

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Divergence Pro Jacket:
I have been looking for a windpro jacket/sweater WITHOUT a hood for so long, since I love how breathable the fabric is while still providing a bit of extra protection from the elements vs a traditional fleece. So when I saw this product, I jumped. Sadly, EMS really missed the mark with this piece. Overall, the fit is a bit odd, as the body is tight (even tighter than what I would consider "alpine" or "fitted") and the arms are freakishly long - it's like the designers couldn't decide if they were making a jacket or a sweater. At first I saw that it had pit zips, and thought it a bit odd, since windpro is so breathable, it doesn't really need them. The worst part really came down to the finishing touches. The zippers on the pit zips are finished in such a way that when you wear a tshirt underneath, they chafe one's skin. Especially considering I was planing on using this as a mid layer, that's a big problem. The last thing I want to do after hiking under a full pack is to get into camp with chafed under arms. Sure, with a long sleeve baselayer, it'd be fine, but I want a garment flexible enough not to require long sleeves underneath. Sadly, this had to go back. If they ever make a verson of this without the pitzips, I'll be back to give it a second look

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Divergence Pro Jacket:
I checked this jacket out in the store and was disappointed. The regular divergence fleece is a much nicer looking jacket than this. You may as well get a nice soft shell jacket for much less money, like the Endo if you want this.
