This coat is nice and warm without being really bulky. The underarm vents are handy when you start to work up a sweat. The hood works well, especially resizing & can be removed. I really like the green color. I often choose black, but thought it looked more like a dark speckled gray. I like the pockets & their sizing, but if I could change anything I wish they opened vertically (not horizontally.) It's nice to stay warm and dry in both the snow and cold rain.

I love this coat..have bought many coats from ems never been disapointed..glad i found this! The coat has a nice texture that makes the color stand out. Fits well i find most coats are short on the arms but not this..hood seems a bit too big but overall love it!

I shovel snow in winter, go to the Adirondacks and snow shoe, hike in winter months and I hate to be cold. This jacket is warm and has many of the fine touches of my last beloved jacket. There are zippers under the arms to let you breath and many useful pockets with zippers. There is an inside pocket with cloth for glasses or goggles. I am either an 8 or a 10. I tried both a medium and a large and the medium fit fine with a sweater. I don't like hoods. I am used to a waterproof hood that rolls up and fits in a zippered space in the collar. This hood zips off which is almost as good.

The most undesirable features are the front pockets which are small and in an awkward place to warm the hands. The coat is OK in a pinch. It is well made but for the $$ there are better options.
