These tights are very comfortable & let you move freely. I wore them as a baselayer w/snowpants and my legs stayed nice and warm. I think you could also wear them for exercising.

The Techwick Light Weight Tights are amazingly stretchy, comfortable and warm. I have worn them sking, snowshoeing and cross country sking. Love the silkiness and lightweight stretch without a bit of bulk. After wearing them the first time, I loved them so much that I rushed back to purchase another set;top and bottoms! I'm seriously thinking stuffing Christmas stockings with them next year!

Kept me warm when worn with jeans or a long skirt -- wind chill was -25. Wicked away moisture when worn with insulated snow pants while skiing and snowshoeing. I will buy more!

Size medium was fine for 5'7'' 135 lbs/long legs. I usually buy pants w/31 or 32 inseam so I was worried they'd be too short but they stretch as you pull them on and stay stretched without tightness or riding up. The medium waist was also big enough- I didn't have to order up for my larger waist. You can probably order them by hip size.

Happy they stretch in the back rise so they're not a 'wedgie' and not too much 'plumber ..' showing in rear when you squat in a ski tuck or try to climb up onto something above waist level.

Nice clingy snuggly custom fit without drafts so feels warm, but not sure if as breathable. Have not washed yet(must wash cold/dry on low).

Bought these to have some tights on hand for biking. Perfect to layer on cold days commuting to office or wearing on their own. Maximum comfort and fits the crotch perfectly. No sliding down or riding up.

I fell in love with the lightweight Techwick tops, so I bought a pair of lightweight bottoms. I'm one of those people who starts wearing long underwear when the New England weather gets into the 50's. I love these bottoms so far! I've only had them a month, but they keep me that extra bit warm without being too warm. They fit perfectly under my business slacks and jeans. I also feel good about wearing them as leggings under a shirt dress or working out. And they are a dream to sleep in. I must admit that I'm careful about how I wash my clothes. I wash these on cool gentle in a lingerie bag and line dry. I do the same with my tops. The tops are beginning to show some wear at the sleeve stitching, but the bottoms are holding tight so far. I'll keep getting thin silk underwear for the 50 degree weather but I'll buy a few more pair of these for when it's in the 20's - 40's and I'm in and out of doors.

Lite layer is good. also got the t3. May be my imagination but they seem to ride slightly higher than the t3 only used once so far.

While I don't deal with sub zero temperatures, riding in the winter can get chilly. These added just the layer I needed without getting too hot. And they fits perfectly!
