Comments about BLACK DIAMOND Trail Shock Compact Trekking Poles:
these are my second pair of Black Diamond trekking poles. They are very light weight and easy to adjust. flick lock holds sections firmly in place while hiking. I like that they can adjust down to 24" so they will easily pack into my duffel bag for travel. grips are not quite as comfortable as my old Black Diamond trekking poles, but they are fine.

Comments about BLACK DIAMOND Trail Shock Compact Trekking Poles:
Pretty good pole. Lightweight. Easy to adjust and telescopes down small enough to be strapped to my pack when not in use. Only issue I had was when descending, I put my full weight (215lbs) on one pole when I slipped and the pole did bend and had an obvious bow to it after. However, I don't expect any pole that lightweight to stand up to something like that. Poles were replaced at no cost to me.
