Ideal for cold-weather hiking, skiing, and running, our Power Dry 1/4 Zip retains heat and wicks moisture. Wear as a heavyweight base layer, an insulating midlayer, or alone under a shell on milder winter days.Features/Benefits:

I used this while hiking and plan to use it for biking and as a mid-layer for skiing. I really like the stretchiness of this shirt. Most shirts I have tried to use as a mid-layer are way to tight to comfortably layer over base layers. This one is perfect for that! Plus because it is stretchy it fits and looks great too! Also love the feel and comfort of the shirt when wearing as a base layer for hiking.

I purchased the blue, a vibrant peacock color, in a medium; the fit on my 5'4" 120# frame is perfect. The sleeves and back are long enough to provide coverage without gaps, and it is not snug fitting so I can wear it about town without it looking like I'm in long johns. The outside is soft and smooth, the inside a fine waffle knit. Found it on sale and would buy another.

I use it for hiking and it's just perfect for winter. It really retains wicks moisture so you don't get cold. Even on my way back from the summit, I'm still confortable and not freezing. Usually, I had to get changed at the summmit before hiking down. I used it also for running in winter, just with a softshell over, perfect! I would recommended it 100%. Good value.
