you do need to size down so that the shoe is very snug. it will stretch a fair amount. That being said, this shoe literally molds to your foot giving the best fitting climbing shoe i've ever had. super sensitive and great for overhanging climbs and bouldering. Definitely recommend.

I wear a 10.5 in evolv (shamans) and I knew I'd have to downsize for these, but I didn't think I'd have to go down to a 7. It took me 4 orders to get the right size. Just beware that the heel won't fit right unless you get the shoe very small. Other than that, it's comfy, sticky, and fits to my foot well. Definitely worth a shot.
