Comments about PETZL Micro Traxion:
This is an awesome device for it's size and weight. A larger pulley creates less friction, making things easy to pull. But for a pulley this small, you can't beat it. It also has progress-capture, so you don't have to worry about your hands slipping while you haul. It is small and light enough, that it is in my pack every time I go caving.

I am a guide on Mt. Rainier and am always looking for the fastest, most efficient and safe way to self rescue or rescue others who have fallen into a crevasse. The Micro Traxion has replaced my older Mini Traxion whereas it is quite a bit lighter and still strong enough to sustain the forces generated for rescue work there.
