Comments about THE NORTH FACE Women's Thunder Jacket:
I wear it everyday but not on days that are -0 degrees or rainy. It's very lightweight, comfortable and warm. I like how it's not overly puffy!!!! I would definitely buy this jacket again once mine are worn out. It's worth every pennie! I just wish it was waterproof so I won't have to wear another waterproof jacket on top. It kinda defeats the whole purpose of buying an expensive jacket buy can't wear it when it rains. Despite not being waterproof I love it and would repurchase again!!!!

Comments about THE NORTH FACE Women's Thunder Jacket:
Very light weight, warm, soft hand feel, good movement, shaped waistline gives it a feminine fit, shoulders fit nice, not too bulky like the Patagonia equivalent. Armhole is a bit high making it feel tight. Would buy a size larger than you normally would. Wish there was an inside or outside chest pocket for cell phone. compresses nicely for convenient packing for travel. Layers nicely under the Northface hooded zip front shell for added protection when needed. Great for everyday use, or technical active use. Looks good too! Would love to see it in an array of fun colors! Would definitely recommend to others.
Comments about THE NORTH FACE Women's Thunder Jacket:
I am often a medium in northface jackets but I had to send this jacket back for a small. I am 5'4 130lbs. I got my second jacket and it fit perfect! It is a very warm jacket and is not overly puffy. I do wish the outside layer of the jacket was a little thicker, because instantly I was finding feathers on my shirt below. The arm length is nice and long and it is comfortable though. I bought it because it is extremely light to bring backpacking with me and it works great for that.

Best Uses

Comments about THE NORTH FACE Women's Thunder Jacket:
Unfortunately, the attractive look of this product online did not convey on me. It was not advertised on a model, so I did not know that it ran so short (slightly above the waistline). Size 6 fit perfectly otherwise, but would need to go up one size because you definitely need to layer up during cold (and even just cool) temperatures. This jacket is ultra, ultra thin. My husband thought that I had ordered a bag of cotton balls. Suffice to say, I returned it. For 1/2 the price, I might have held on to it and used stylish layers to make it attractively wearable.
Pros
- Super light weight

Comments about THE NORTH FACE Women's Thunder Jacket:
This jacket is so warm and light weight. I was so excited to use it as an insulating layer under my ski shell. But the down is constantly leaking!! It's ridiculous. I think before the year is over, all the down in the jacket would've leaked out. I have had many other north face down jackets before and have never experienced this before! This is not ordinary leaking that you get every so often with a down jacket. It's constant. When I took off my jacket, I looked like I just came from a pillow fight.. I noticed that the leaking is much worse when I have a fleece as an underlayer. I am very disappointed. I think north face went really cheap on the shell lining of the jacket.
