PETZL Tikka Plus 2 Headlamp
The Petzl Tikka Plus² headlamp integrates two light sources for versatility: one white, high-output LED and one red LED.Features/Benefits:
- The white LED delivers 50 lumens in maximum mode and lights up to 35m
- In economic mode, it can reach a burn-time of 140 hours
- Specific Petzl lens optimizes the reach of the beam and maximizes versatility
- The red LED provides spare lighting to preserve night vision
- Red strobe light for increased safety, for example in an urban environment
- The Petzl Tikka Plus² can be used with lithium batteries to decrease weight or increase performance in cold weather
- Push-button switch limits inadvertently turning on the lamp during storage

I initially bought this product for a camping trip and very much enjoyed it.
Recently because of Hurricane Sandy I have been without power for more then a week. At night it gets very dark in my house and it super convenient to have this attached to my head for HOURS at a time. This week alone I've probably used it 30+ hours in home. Much more convenient then a regular flashlight.
I would without a doubt recommend this to anyone. I will definitely be purchasing another this week.

Great light for the price. Petzl just makes good equipment. I liked how if you are using either the red or white light and turn it of an then back on that respected light that was turned off comes back when turned on again.

Overall, I found the headlamp very good for hiking/walking after dark, grilling or doing chores outside. I found the switch to be somewhat touchy when trying to change to low or blinking.

I bought it for running but I use it all around the house. It is great when looking for something in a dark space and reading in bed. It has features I have not used yet, but intend to. I could have gotten by with a unit with less features.
