I've tried many boots over the years, including Asolo, EMS, and Solomon, in search of the best fit for my narrow, long, high-arched, low-profile feet. Nothing was ever quite right, even with footbeds. As soon as I put these on, I knew they were perfect: relatively light, comfortable, and sufficiently durable for backpacking as well as day hikes. I have a pair of Solomon Speedcross 3's that inspired me to try these, and I was not disappointed. I haven't taken them out for a longer overnight yet, and it's a little early to say if they'll be durable, but I have no reason to think they won't be, based on the Speedcrosses.

This is the best fitting boot/ shoe out of the box ever. I was concerned when ordering because very difficult to find correct/ comfortable shoe. I spoke with an online chat rep & she assured me they run true ~ she was right. These shoes are so comfortable I use wear them daily. They are so light and offer so much support by the end of a 16 hr shift my feet are no longer sore & fatigued.

Have had these boots for about one month, and have worn them several times. Feet stayed dry in long wet grass on the range. Also wore them casually a couple times and they were light, comfortable, and I could not tell I was wearing "boots" all day. The quality seems very good, and they have the great Solomon style. So far I am very satisfied with them, and I'd recommend them! Only issue I noticed is a slight squeak when walking, but I think it's the grippy sole which will fade with a little more use.

Hiked with boots right out of the box on seven miles of very hilly and rocky section of appalachian trail. Very comfortable without any problems. Did get caught in heavy rain for half the hike with rain getting in over the top of the boot but if I had rain pants on to cover the tops my feet should have stayed dry. Traction was good on wet rock and mud. The synthetic materials helped for the boot to dry more quickly.
