These are the tightest slippers ever across the instep. (Feels like I"ve got a piece of masking tape strapped across the top of my foot and I have fairly flat feet.) Also, my ankles and heels ar e freezing unless I wear socks with these. But socks won't fit. R-e-t-u-r-n!
