My job is as a location scout in NYC, so my requirements for shoes are comfort, support, durability and look. I walk all day long, but also have to look presentable. I keep going back to Merrell because they are far and away the most comfortable shoes for my feet. They look better than sneakers, but I wouldn't wear them to black tie affair. My one complaint with Merrell shoes is they tend to wear out in the ball of the foot. Again, I walk A LOT, so it's not entirely their fault. But if there was some reenforcement in the sole, I'd give it 5 starts. Would and will continue to buy their shoes, as long as they keep up the quality.
