• A light sensor mounted above the LED’s monitors ambient light levels, then a processor then analyzes lighting needs and constantly adjusts the two LED beams to provide seamless transitions to various lighting levels
• The two high powered LED’s adjust lighting from a wide close range beam to a focused distance beam, or a combination of the two if needed, with no manual switching needed
• Lockable multi-function PULSE switch is easy to use even with gloves on
• ZEPHYR headband is adjustable and keeps the headlamp stable, includes an optional top strap
• Lithium ion battery provides constant output regulated lighting, performs well at low temperatures, includes a battery charge indicator, and recharges easily with integrated USB connection (compatible with all USB chargers: cell phone, MP3 player, computer, portable energy source, solar panel, car cigarette lighter, etc.)
• Provides REACTIVE lighting levels from 7-355 lumens and a beam pattern lighting range of 9 – 108 meters
• Because of the varying brightness in REACTIVE mode battery life is variable with an average of 4 hr 40 min on the high 355 Max Lumen setting and 8 hours on the 98 Lumen lower setting
• Constant non-reactive mode can easily accessed at any time and offers regulated lighting up to 315 lumens for 1 hour 20 minutes, or 88 Lumens with 8 hours of run time. This is useful when using the lamp around automobile traffic at night when the REACTIVE mode would dim the lamp at the onset of an oncoming car.
• Optional OS by Petzl version 2.0 software allows all of the lamps intensity settings to be easily customized
• Optional belt kit for NAO (E36R10) allows the rechargeable battery to be moved to the belt to reduce the weight worn on the head, or to keep it warmer in winter
