On my first hike with these boots I was nervous that they'd hurt because I hadn't broken them in. They were great, prevented my foot from sliding around (no blisters, no bruised toenails) and they supported my ankles which are weak from too many sprains in my past. Additionally, I got stuck in 90 minutes of pouring rain. The boots kept my feet dry and warm! :)

These boots were very good looking hiking boots. They appeared sturdy and well padded, but I have a wide foot and the toe box was too narrow to accommodate my foot. I knew I would run into problems if I kept the boot; therefore, I returned them. If you have a narrow or regular width foot, I believe these would be great boots.
