Great rack, except for a bit of bouncy on the highway. It is most likely caused because it isn't a snug fit for my 2 inch hitch. Otherwise, it is easy to fold and tilt back allowing easy access to back cargo area of my Forester.

Everything works as advertised and does a great job. Some effort required to stretch the rubber binding straps over the oval posts, but once in place everything is very secure.

Comments about THULE 9029 Vertex 4 Bike Rack:
Has a threaded 1/2 inch (?) receiver pin that requires a wrench to install or remove from car. I am going to try buying a 1/2 inch locking receiver pin (stainless steel) to see if that works to prevent theft and to make it more convenient for me to take it of the car. Hopefully, that will not make it less tight where it connects to the hitch.
Nice design and very sturdy.
