I've worn Chaco sandals in the summertime for years. I have high arches and a tendency to suffer from plantar fascitis, and these are the only sport sandals that give me the arch support I need without having to wear my orthotics. I love the double strap and toe ring, as they give me great support in the shoe, and don't allow my feet to slide around. If you follow the directions included for adjusting the straps exactly, you'll get a good fit without strangling your big toe. Once properly adjusted I never have to do it again, unless my feet are unusually swollen.
The only drawback for me is that I feel the soles in the heel area wear down way too fast, especially compared to the original Chacos that used to be made in Colorado. Otherwise,
