I bought the boot for winter hiking and snow shoeing. I hiked 7 miles the day I got them and ran a 5k on snow packed trails two days later. These are not made for people with wide feet but they broke in well with no wear on my feet. The tongue is a bit wide on the boot.

I go backpacking almost 3 times a week, if not more, every season of the year and i recently purchased these boots hoping they would make the cut. They didnt. They get cold very quickly. My old boots (a pair of Sorels with numerous holes in them keep me warmer).I will be returning them soon.
