This design is perfect. The choice of material creates a light but sturdy trowel for taking care of business on the trail. The hollow handle allows you to store tp and a lighter, which minimizes wasted space. The digging blade is rounded which avoids the damage to gear and pack that could be cause by the traditional pointed trowel. This is a well designed product that meets the needs of the trail excellently.
