I am an avid daily hiker. I live in a mountain region and take my four dogs on rough terrain everyday. I love a medium to heavy cushioned sock and purchased four pair of these for my upcoming hike in the Pyrenees Mountains of Spain and France. I have a very small foot, size 6, and have a tough time getting socks that fit correctly. These have fit the bill perfectly for all of my needs!

I love these socks. They're warm and comfortable, but not too thick, so I can wear them with all my shoes without being too tight. I'm wearing them right now actually! They don't fall down, and they fit nicely around the foot. I live in NYC, and I wear them there, but also spend time in the Adirondacks, and they're warm enough to wear there too.

I bought these socks to go along with a pair of high ankle goretex boots, for my girlfriend. Needless to say they are the most comfortable, breathable, socks shes EVER owned. She's never tried smartwool in her life. Think I got her hooked.
But like most other Smartwool products, this is one surely made to last.
EX:
Never looses it's elasticity.
She wears them ALL the time and they have yet to be worn out.
Still very soft and warm.
They don't smell!
I bought her the ones in pink and she loves them!
