Doesn't get any easier than a figure 8. The Black Diamond model is a tiny bit smaller than the CMIs that I have used in the past, but not enough to matter. The finish is nice and has held up well so far. Fits a 10.1mm rope for double raps with no problem.

Initially, EMS sent the wrong color Super 8 Belay. I called customer service and the gentleman on the phone was very helpful. He looked into why I was sent the wrong color and assured me he would return my call by days end. And that he did! I received the right color Super 8 Belay in the mail the next day! Talk about fast service. Kudos to this company. :)
