Comments about THE NORTH FACE Angstrom 28 Daypack:
Got this as a replacement for an aging NF Recon pack and this is definitely a step up. Use it for day hiking, going to the gym, etc., but also for days when I'm consulting and frequently going from place to place. Plenty of features for multipurpose use: laptop sleeve; hydration system support; rain cover; fits in overhead bin or under your seat; accessible compartments for the things you need quick access to. My only con (and this unfortunately is common with the two previous NF packs I've owned) is that it's easy for the main zipper to snag on the material designed to shield it. With my last pack I was constantly using my car keys to unsnag it and hopefully it won't be the case this time. Otherwise, extremely versatile.
