Comments about Trango STONEWEAR DESIGNS Women's Solace Top:
This top from Stonewear Designs was advertized as "we are bringing the original ladder-back top back!". I have several Stonewear Designs tank tops, I used to have their ladder-back top, and loved it.
So, when this design "came back" I HAD to have it. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. This tank top fits more like a tunic (see photo). Other than the bra part, is is very, very loose. Looks pretty, but if you plan to wear it while doing upside-down yoga poses, or while climbing, you will not be happy with the hem flipping over your face and sliding all over, or the fabric bunching under your harness like a peasant blouse.
It is a nice top, the back straps look sexy, the fabric is high quality, and, unlike the original ladder-back top, or other Stonewear tops, it comes with lined bra cups, making for a smooth no-nipple-showing look.
Unfortunately, the loose-tunic design makes it less useful for the kind of activities that Stonewear clothes are SUPPOSED to be for. If you want to wear it while dancing, or when you are out for a stroll or a jog, you will be happy with it.
But I bought it for climbing, and it is not what I needed or wanted. Too bad!
