Great skirt to wear with tights and/or leggings with boots. Casual, comfortable, yet has that stylish, trendy look to it as well depending what you wear it with. I especially like the design that allows you to wear it with the slit hem to the back, side, or front, which gives it a bit of a different look. Well designed that way. Wish there were more colors like wine, moss, deep charcoal. Would also like a lighter weight version for summer. Great to wear to pilates/yoga classes-slips right off for class.

Overall, I am merino wool addict. This skirt fuels my addiction. Size chart is right on, waist band is super comfortable, the skirt is non-itchy, hits above knee but not too high up. It is warm and I am sure it will perform great in the summer as merino wool is a natural temperature regulator. So far I wore it with tights and boots and was as comfortable as wearing my PJs. Great job, SmartWool!

Like other commenters, I wish this skirt was shorter, but I suppose I can just hike it up. Warm, stretchy, works on the bike (and I have a crossbar-boys bike). Pockets would make it perfect. already covered in cat hair, which means I love it.

This skirt is fanatstic! Fit is great, not too short. I've worn it a few times already. I have not washed it yet and hopefully that goes ok. Sometime the wool gets pilled after washing, but so far so good. If they are onsale again, I will buy another.
