Comments about THE NORTH FACE Men's Apex ClimateBlock Jacket:
I tend to run a lot at night on these cold winter evening. This jacket serves me well. It is light weight, but it has a great wind shield and the visibility due to the reflective materials makes me feel really secure on dark streets and roads. The jacket also runs pretty true to size, but is not restricting of arm movements for a big upper body built guy such as myself.

Comments about THE NORTH FACE Men's Apex ClimateBlock Jacket:
I bought this jacket as an outer layer for winter outdoor running in Albany. I love that it is highly reflective, so I don't have to look like I just stole a vest from a road worker.
I use it with a t-shirt for 40deg., with a tech shirt for 30deg, with a tee and lightweight fleece for 20deg, and with tech and fleece for 10deg and lower. I have been consistently happy, even on very windy days.
Don't buy this thinking you can go outdoors and wear it in 0 degree weather with nothing underneath. Winter running gear is about layering appropriately for yourself. This is the best outer layer I've ever had.
Also, it is NOT waterPROOF. Sprinkles = dry. Monsoon = stay inside.
