I have my Blackout Buddies plugged into outlets around our emergency escape routes so if the earthquakes at night, we can see clearly how to get out out the house.
The night light is very bright and as such may be bothersome to some, , , however, it can be shut off and the emergency light will still come on when necessary.
It's slim design allows access to the out let directly above it so you do not have to pull it out if you are vacuuming the room. This is without a doubt the best emergency light on the market today!
