Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Titan Pullover:

This pullover has a very slim profile - it's not bulky at all. It's almost an insulated shirt so it's great as a base layer. I can wear it under every coat. Great for wearing on a plane for when traveling. I'm always cold on planes and this keeps me comfortable. It's light enough that it can easily stuffed into your luggage when you get off the plane in a hotter climate.

The only thing that would make it better is if it had side pockets (it only has one on the chest) and if it stuffed into a pockets. I would buy a second one if it came in more colors.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Titan Pullover:

I bought this to replace (or use instead of) my Patagonia Nano-puff, so there will be comparisons between the two. First off, the Titan is a very good piece, hands down a very good product at a very good price (even at full price it's still not bad). I bought it because of the Primaloft insulation, which is incredibly warm, and it will keep you warm even when wet. The DWR doesn't last that long and in the snow or rain it will soak fairly quickly, but if you have the proper base layer (wool, synth polypro) and keep active (running, shoveling) it'll keep you warm even when wet. The 80 grams is 20 grams more than my Nano-puff but the weight is negligable and I can't really say it's much warmer (but it is, it has to be, right?) It does feel just a tad bit heavier, but between 80 grams and 60 grams, you're really not going to notice those mesely 20 grams. The Titan is well constructed, the ripstop nylon does hold up pretty well and it has a cinch cord on the left side (whereas the Nanopuff only has elastic). The difference between the two is the sizing. I'm 5'6 135lb and am between a small/medium. The small Patagonia fits perfect, I mean perfect (very few things fit perfectly for me). The Titan wasn't a bad fit, but just wasn't great. The small was too tight around the chest but was snug around the neck to keep heat trapped in and not allow rain/snow in. The medium was more loose but was too loose around my neck allowing snow or rain to come in and didn't keep as much warmth in. The baffle patterns are also different on the two pieces. The Nanopuff is more of offset block pattern whereas the Titan straight row rectangular. Although the Titan is heavier and has a cinch cord I still prefer my Nanopuff due to the sizing and the baffle patterns. It's probably subjective, but the Nanopuff just feels better on me. But in fairness to the Titan, which is a great piece, I'd have given it 3.5 stars (just didn't know how to add that last half star). If I hadn't had the Nanopuff already, I'd have given it 4 stars. BTW the Nanopuff is 4.5 stars, there's no way I'd pay that much for it (thank God I bought it on clearance).

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Titan Pullover:

I usually wear this under an uninsulated shell on most winter days, although if I need a little extra warmth I'll wear overtop of a light hooded pullover fleece. Does the trick every time. On days when they call for things to hit at least the mid 40's I'll just wear a decent midweight base under this. This product has never let me down. Packs nice and small so it doesn't take up hardly any room in pack when traveling. Already been recomending to friends

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Titan Pullover:

This thing is SUPER light and packable and more warmth than I expected, or really needed for that matter. Wore it two days on the mountain in Wyoming and shed it both times after a couple of runs. Tried it cross country skiing, didnt make it out of the lot before I shed it. I imagine I will use it again on VERY cold camping trips or belays. I would wear it for a very cold day on the mountain, and plan to shed it and stash it in my pack. The lightness packability makes that a great option. Great piece to have on hand when bad weather strikes on the trail though. Great for backpacking I would think.

Much more useful that I though it would be. Comfprtable enough to wear indoors, yet warm enough to wear while snowboarding or running.
