Comments about THE NORTH FACE Men's Etip Gloves:
I bought my first pair in December, 2013.
I didn't realize how little coverage I needed on my hands during the cooler months (NYC), and these gloves work excellently in almost all situations. (Not for wet, not for the coldest days in winter, and not for windy/cold conditions.) These are the thinnest and lightest gloves I know, and the stretchy material they are constructed with is comfortable on the skin.
I do not use these for their e-tip functionality, so I cannot speak to their effectiveness in that area, but they are sleek and sufficiently warm for me. (For those who run on the cooler side, you may need something heavier.)
I bought a second pair, not because I needed them - the durability seems to be very good, I have only slight fraying of the edges after a year of consistent use, and no evidence that the gloves are wearing down - but because I love these gloves so much, that I wanted a back-up pair in the event I need them.
