Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Altitude 3-in-1 Mittens:

These mittens would be great for casual usage in an urban setting. They'll keep your hands toasty while waiting for the bus or train, but they're not well suited for backcountry use. The wrist lanyards need to be made from elastic cord and use actual cord locks instead of a piece of rubber. The cuff isn't long enough to overlap the sleeve on a shell parka, let alone a belay jacket.

I should've gone with OR mitts, but I tried to cheap out. My loss.
