Comments about PATAGONIA Women's Drifter A/C Hiking Shoes, Llama/Aluminum:

I work at a nature shop with a hard floor & often stand in one place for lengths of time; then at other times I am bringing in tons of seed! I also do a lot of hiking.

I purchasd a pair of these Patagonias last winter as they have the Vibram sole. I've had them for a while and they are still comfortable! I can stand in them and my feet don't hurt at the day's end. I can hike with these and climb down mossy, wet rocks because of their traction. The lower half of the tongue is attached so they are pretty water resistant.
While trying on expensive sneaks last week I noticed a startling difference in the cushioning so here I am to purchase another pair of these. I admit I will purchase them on sale, but they are worth it. I wear an 8 1/2 in keen voyageurs, these I take an 8 1/2 or 9 if I plan to wear thick socks. My feet are on the wide side.
