Comments about PETZL Pixa 3 Headlamp:

I really like the Pixa since it is easy to move from the headband to the helmet mount hook.
The Pixa also rotates 180 degrees to lock in storage mode so the light can't accidentally turn on. Plus the the lens is protected.
I put a paint mark on the top of the head band mounting plate so I know where to spread the mounting plate when dismounting the head lamp. Black on black with a thin line is hard to see even in good light.
Having the light easy to remove from the headband is very handy when you put the headband around your neck during patient care. Or when you don't want to blind others when you look at them. You can still easily remove the light when you want to light something else.
I might even get a 2nd helmet mount bracket and set it up with a Garmin GPS mounting stud so I can use a Garmin biner clip or neck loop.
