Comments about MARMOT Men's PreCip Rain Jacket:

Large good fit for 6 ft tall male, 34/35 sleeve. Have used so far walking dog in the rain. Did not let in any water. Also would use as shell for hiking.
One thing to watch out for - the side pocket liner looks like an inner pouch but it's not. It's open at the bottom. All they had to do to prevent accidental use of this non-pocket was sew it shut at the top. But they didn't. Anyway, it's a minor issue once you're aware of it. I only had to backtrack a short distance to find my cell phone on the trail :)

Bought this for my husband in the green-yellow color. Excellent in keeping the rain out, very lightweight and comfortable. Color is very visible in the rain makes it safer from cars, bicycles, etc.

Great coat, not much more to say. Size fits true. Buy one size up if layering. It is super comfortable and moves with you. No warmth layer here, just waterproofing, but can wear a light fleece or sweatshirt underneath. Every color option you want to express yourself so join the Marmot Revolution!

I've used this jacket while hiking in the rain, and on cooler days. It's comfortable and kept me dry, except when I sweat too much, didn't seem as breathable as it says, but I'm no expert. Overall I'm very happy with it.

Comments about MARMOT Men's PreCip Rain Jacket:

I've already used this jacket in the White Mountains and streets of New York City. It's a great piece of gear for both situations. The adjustable cuffs are great and allow for a finer tuning of the fit. It's also extremely light and doesn't add weight to your load. And it's roomy enough on for a several layers underneath if you choose (I have a M with a 5'9" frame, 155lbs). And in the more urban environments, the jacket is breathable enough to walk in the rain and then pop onto the subways - the pit-zips offer even more breathability on those warmer cars. The hood also packs into the collar which makes it less prone to snags or people catching while riding in trains.

Comments about MARMOT Men's PreCip Rain Jacket:

I was extremely pleased with my purchase, until the third hike I wore it on. On this hike, I was in a bit thicker brush, and while hiking through some pine trees, the arm of the jacket was pierced by a branch. My Marmot Pack has held up for many hikes. I guess I expected the jacket to resist puncture better than it did. Except for this issue, the jacket has been great.
