I have used the pack on my bike commute into work and it was very good. Fits nice and doesn't move around. I plan on using it for day hikes in the near future.

Comments about OSPREY Talon 22 Daypack:

Great so far! I love the hydration pocket. Super deep for my old Platypus bladder to fit. Slash pocket is a good size for phone, wallet, keys, bars etc. Lots of room inside, and the wide opening allows you to cram a ton of stuff inside. I haven't used the helmet lock yet, but its a simply genius design. Only drawback I've seen is there aren't compression straps to cinch the pack tight if it isn't full. There are some straps in the mesh side pockets that may help do this, but not enough if you have a small amount of heavy gear.

Comments about OSPREY Talon 22 Daypack:

I needed a lightweight comfortable hiking backpack because my lower back was bothering me. This has been perfect. My first hike with the pack was Mt Washington. It held a lined rain jacket, hat, gloves, light sweater, long underwear, water, camera, and a few smaller items. We got lunch at the top. I wasn't sure if I should get the 20 or the 30 but the 20 works for day hiking. I choose sm/med and am 5'3'.
