    • Insulation is 100% recyclable and made using advanced manufacturing processes free of hazardous chemicals
    • Insotect Tubic bag construction utilizes Vertical Thermal Channel and DualVault technologies to prevent the insulation from shifting, eliminate cold spots, and ensure optimum loft and thermal efficiency

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Boreal 20° Sleeping Bag, Regular:

Very happy with this bag. I was looking for a 20 to 30 degree bag for shoulder season backpacking use and this fits the bill perfectly. There were definitely other bags at this rating that would pack a bit smaller or have a bell or whistle here or there, but for the price I couldn't have asked for anything better. I also just bought the Wapack 60L pack and this fit into the sleeping back compartment like it was made for it.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Boreal 20° Sleeping Bag, Regular:

I bought this bag for my daughter who had been using her brothers hand-me -down bag which was too small. It was great to get her a nice lightweight bag.
A teenagers at 5'4 she found this bag to fit her nicely. It packs down small and its lightness helped keep her overall backpack weight down (so she could carry more of the family food!) We went to a high alpine lake in July, the weather was typical. She was a little cold however and was glad she brought a lightweight fleece pullover to sleep in. Overall, I loved it and secretly wished I had ordered one for myself!

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Boreal 20° Sleeping Bag, Regular:

I bought this sleeping bag as an upgrade over my summer bag. I went on a trip to western Mass this past weekend. Temperatures got down to 25 degrees Fahrenheit and I was WARM. I was in a single wall cheap tent on a platform. I am a "warm sleeper" but I was very impressed with this bag. I was able to comfortably sleep in my t-shirt and boxers all night.

I do wish this sleeping bag could compress a bit more but the added warmth made up for that. I got this on sale and I really appreciated the added warmth.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Boreal 20° Sleeping Bag, Regular:

I have taken this bag out a number of times now in different temperatures. The coldest night I used this bag my car thermometer read 28 degrees on a car camping trip (my cars thermometer is usually accurate within 2 degrees). That night my feet were slightly cold inside the bag but I have abnormally cold feet even in warm weather and didn't bring socks as I didn't expect such cold temps. My core stayed warm and eventually the warmth moved down to the footbox. Overall I've been really impressed with this bag. It weighs less than many comparable synthetic bags and holds up well in colder weather.
