Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Women's Mercury Gloves:

These gloves are wonderful for those who suffer from perpetually cold hands. Warm, soft, and not bulky, they can be stuffed in a pocket but come out to keep your hands warm when you need them. They aren't waterproof, but hey, that's not what I am looking for in a glove to wear to work and on the bus and in the car every day.

Warm but not the greatest quality

      By Snocap

      from Boston, MA

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Women's Mercury Gloves:

I ordered these gloves to use for outdoor winter activities like snowshoeing. My hands are pretty small (I'm usually womens glove size 6) so I got an XS, but the fingers were bit short. The gloves were super warm and soft, but it seemed like some of the insulation was not sewed in properly and some of the seams on the glove were not lining up right. Not the greatest quality for the price, so I had to return them.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Women's Mercury Gloves:

I was really surprised at how soft and lightweight these gloves are. My finger tips are usually cold but with these gloves they were fine. Once your body heats up from walking quckly the gloves warm up as well. Below 20's you'll need a glove liner.

I'm prone to cold hands and these gloves are great for digging out from a snow storm. Although my hands still get cold from the shovel, I can be out a bit longer.

My hands are always cold. With the Primaloft lining they keep my hands nice and warm. I also like the longer cuff and the feeling of weightlessness, which give me a lot of flexibility. I don't need to take them off to retreive an item from my pocket.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Women's Mercury Gloves:

Marshmallow soft and comfy with a supple suede grip -- better than old-fashioned, bulky and cumbersome ski gloves or too tight-fitting, neopreney or itchy wool versions with stiff palms.

However, the next versions need to be useable with cell phones in the cold!
