Comments about MOUNTAIN HARDWEAR Men's Winter Wander Pants:
I use these for winter hiking (with long underwear underneath) and for walking my dog on cold days. They're very comfortable and allow for full range of movement. They feel lightweight on and fit well. My girlfriend said they look like normal pants, but they're more rugged and breathable. Another great product from Mountain Hardwear!

I've used the Winter Wander pants for snowshoeing in cold, windy weather (0 - 10 F) and found them to be plenty wind proof and warm without breaking a sweat.

I pretty much wear these all the time for winter mountaineering. When it gets to stormy I just throw some GTX pro shell pants over top.

Comments about MOUNTAIN HARDWEAR Men's Winter Wander Pants:
Wanted a warmer pant for winter hikes. Like the heavier weight of these, but there is no insulation, and the interior is not fleeced at all. love the stretchiness, and I could tell they would allow good freedom even with a base layer. Big con is that everything stretches EXCEPT for the waist which was too small. I'm a 36 and the Large did not fit my waist as it should have. Am trying a XL but expect it to be too big. So sad. These are less belled on the bottoms so have a better look than the newer "styles."

Comments about MOUNTAIN HARDWEAR Men's Winter Wander Pants:
Pants were just what I needed for winter backpacking. Very high quality. HOWEVER... Waist size (perfect) came in only one length (WAY TOO LONG). Sadly I had to return them.
