Excellent performing pants typical of Mountain Hardware quality.
They fit perfect 38/30 (same as my jeans size), and they articulate very well.
These pants are marketed as a climbing pant but I recently finished a snowshoeing trip with them. Temp was good down to 30F. Below 30F, I used a base layer.
Can't wait to use them for climbing for spring and fall as they articulate very well and seem very durable/abrasion resistant, yet light enough for climbing.
The lightly padded waist is great to prevent harness chaffing. Belt loop are nice and wide, and have a durable chalk bag loop in the back.

I have tried so many hiking pants from NF to EMS and Columbia and these are far superior to any of them. The fit is spot on, the quality is excellent. Between these and the Mesa converatble pants, nothing else compares. I have 2 pair of these and one of the Mesa and wear them all the time. My favorite hiking pants ever

Bought these based on some of the reviews I saw. This is a great pair of pants. The fit well and the material is awesome.
I've used these so far for casual wear and for biking to work.
They are warm and oh so soft around the inner waistband and pockets. The fit is great. I'm 5'8" and wear 32x30 pants and these fit very well.

I pretty much wore these pants for a week straight when I bought them (there was a washing in between). Used working outdoors in cold weather, snowshoeing up a local mountain (with an appropriate base layer), and I just wore them around. Very comfortable. I only wish that I bought the tall size. I am 6' exactly, so there's my word of wisdom. Buy them.
