This is my second top. I've been using it for almost all activities from winter hiking, skiing, cycling, walking to work, etc. I like the close fit, extra long sleeves and thumb holes are great to keep out wind. Keeps out enough wind when hiking even down into the 20s. Keeps retaining heat even when damp. Plan to bring on Kilimanjaro climb as well this summer!

I wear this shirt as either a base layer or second layer for skiing and any other time I'm going to be outside in the cold. It is incredibly warm and comfortable. I got one as a gift then went out and bought myself 2 more. The only negative is sometimes it's too warm when the weather warms up; not a major problem for a cold weather shirt. Another plus, it looks good just as a shirt.

I have worn the Powerstretch twice now when hiking in the mid 30s. Absolutely comfortable and warm in both instances. From those hikes, I am confident that I would be kept warm in the mid twenties with only a base layer on underneath. The other reviews were accurate when mentioning that this does not stop the wind, but it is not advertised to do so. if it is going to be really windy, i would bring a lightweight wind stopper as well. The thumb holes are great, and really keep the sleeves from bunching up if you throw on another layer (if needed).

Great product. Fit is spot on and form fitting so no extra space to heat up. I bought the orange color to be visiable to hunters/traffic out on runs. It keeps you warm! I mainly use it as an outer layer when temps are near to below freezing and it keeps me perfectly warm. (any warmer temp would be too warm). Used it as an underlayer the other day while skiing and my single layer ski jacket and the power stretch was all I needed to stay warm all day!
