They run a tiny bit big but, that's fine for a winter boot. My son wears one pair of wool blend socks and stays very warm. This is the third pair of Chilkats for my 9 year old. He grows way too fast! Good news is...my 6yo is now wearing the older pair and they still look like new! Next up for the used boots...is my 2yo! These boots are made of steel! They snowshoe with them all winter. Great boot! Don't stop carrying them EMS!!

I use this boot during fall/winter garden cleanup in sloppy, wet, cold conditons. Thus far, it has surpassed any wellie (duh) because of the superior support and cushioning. I am super picky about my boots because I am often standing in them for hours at a time and I really like these. No numbness, very warm, easy in and out, aesthetically pleasing for either gender.
