I wanted a long down jacket and settled on this one. This coat is incredibly comfortable and true to size. I love that it unzips at the bottom. The cons are that the down flattens out pretty fast, so I'm worried about how long it will continue to be warm when I sit. Without a lot of layering, it's not warm enough for very cold weather. My real wish is that it had elastic or some sort of gather at the sleeves to eliminate the gap between between my gloves and the coat.

this is a great jacket- i've only had it for a few weeks but it's very warm, doesn't allow any drafts in, is comfortable sitting and walking. it doesn't weigh me down like other winter jackets. the hood fits well and is warm (it's got some down in it). rain beads up on it, rather than soaking in. the only thing that isn't great is the sleeves- they're a bit tapered so the end of the sleeve is a little tighter than the rest of the sleeve. maybe inner cuffs would be better, to keep the cold out, but not be snug at the ends. overall this a great jacket, i don't mind a winter stroll anymore :)

This coat is so warm and it looks cute! It's shaped at the waist, so it feels less bulky and boxy than many down coats that I have tried on. The hood sold me, as well, because I wanted one that adjusts tightly and doesn't have fur.

I've worn it a few times when the temp was 0-20 and I was toasty warm. I read something about the sleeves not cinching and allowing the wind to pass through, but I haven't found that to be a problem when I where gauntlet style gloves. So far I LOVE this coat. I hope it holds up for a few seasons becasue I plan to wear it alot!

Finally broke down and decided to buy a warm coat. This one is about as stylish as you can get while wearing a down coat, but it is also extremely warm. I have been wearing it right over my clothes for the day on bitter cold days and have been quite warm in it. Jacket runs big, but not too drastically.
My only real complaint is the inner pocket placement, I don't think anyone bothered to try this feature out before they mass-produced it- as you have to unzip the jacket most of the way to reach the inner pocket (which is about at waist-level).
Overall, a decent buy.

My husband bought this coat for me a couple years ago. It still looks brand new after a couple winters and lots of use. It washed beautifully! I am in love with this coat. So warm and snuggly and if you take it off in a restaurant and are still chilly you can snap the bottom portion over your legs like a blanket. I love the length too. Great buy. Pricey but worth it.
