I wear the shirt by itself while running in the 40s/50s and I still sweat, but the top wicks really well. It was only slightly damp afterwards and dried quickly. The fit hugs the body but is not restrictive. I have layered it underneath a slim fitting shirt and you couldn't tell it was there. The material is so soft and cozy I could wear it all day and night, which I have. Finally, I was skeptical about the odor-resistant claim, but not anymore.

I love this as a base layer under my Icebreaker 260 zip top. It is extremely form-fitting, which means I can actually layer two zippies over it, plus a top layer. However some might find it constricting (ie. if you have any extra fat around your mid-section.) Also, it is not very long (this is possibly due to how tightly it's fitted.) Long enough though. It is very sharp looking... could wear it out in the evening with a pair of jeans or slacks for a sleek look.

I BOUGHT MY FIRST ONE OF THESE IN THE UK. BASED ON A RECOMMENDATION FROM FELLOW SKIERS. MY ICEBREAKER SHIRT AND PANTS WORKED OUT PERFECTLY FOR A WEEK OF SKIING IN SWITZERLAND. YOU CAN WEAR THESE GARMENTS FOR MULTIPLE DAYS AND THEY DON'T SMELL, AND THEY CAN BE WASHED IN THE SINK AND DRY QUICKLY. IN ADDITION THEY KEPT ME NICE AND TOASTY. I AM 5'4" AND WEAR MEDIUM SHIRTS, AND THIS FIT SPOT ON! I THINK PERHAPS MAYBE OTHER REVIEWERS DID NOT BY THE CORRECT SIZE FOR THEMSELVES. TRY IT FOR YOURSELF:)

I was looking for long underwear & the sales person HIGHLY recommended this top. I thought it was a bit expensive, but if it were that great, it would be worth it. It's not. It's too short-rides up when you wear it (I am not tall-5'4") and it looses it's texture after the first washing. very disappointed.
