Comments about KEEN Men's Targhee II Mid Waterproof Hiking Boots, Walnut:
Tried these on and fell in Love with them because of their overall fit and feel for my foot type. Decided to wear them to work to break in a little. During the day noticed that they do not breath very well. At the end of the day noticed the sole was seperating. Not a durable boot to take chances on if you live in Colorado as I do. Great boot if for very light use but be cautious of the sole seperating.

Comments about KEEN Men's Targhee II Mid Waterproof Hiking Boots, Walnut:
I reviewed these boots a little while after I got them (EMS in Christiana, DE), but now, 6 months later, the toe section leather has lost its stitching and separated, and the front of that boot is no longer waterproof. This is quite unusual in my opinion, as I normally wear the soles out first, before I do any damage to the uppers. Also, unlike gore-tex, Keen's fabric allows my feet to become sweaty. Other than those two things, these boots are indeed great, though I can no longer recommend these boots. Keen's sandals are still the best I've ever bought, though.

Comments about KEEN Men's Targhee II Mid Waterproof Hiking Boots, Walnut:
After wearing the boots for two days I had to return them. I normally wear a 9.5 but based on the EMS employee I bought a 1/2 size larger and the boot still fit tight near the middle of the foot. I couldn't wait to get these boots off. I tried a size 10.5 and that was too big. I did like the style of the boot and was sad to return them. My suggestion to Keen is to start making a wide size. I ended up buying the Vasque Breeze XCR in a 10 wide and I am very happy.

Boot runs at least 1/2 size too small. Toe box, although wide(ish) is not very high. Lots of hot spots. Couldn't wait to get off my feet after easy 5 mile hike.

Comments about KEEN Men's Targhee II Mid Waterproof Hiking Boots, Walnut:
Have 3 pairs now, gone thru 3 pairs. They are by far the most comfortable shoe I own, but I have had the soles delaminate on a couple of pairs, and the cloth around the laces break. I wear them for work also, so I know I expect too much from them. Between myself and kids there are 10 pairs in the house. Great boot, if it was a little more durable they would be perfect.

I just returned from a 10 day trip to Glacier National Park. These shoes didn't survive the trip. the sole fell part on both shoes half way through the trip. Keen Has some flaws to fix before I plan on buying shoes from them again.

Comments about KEEN Men's Targhee II Mid Waterproof Hiking Boots, Walnut:
My foot size 9, I found my big toes hit the toe box once my feet swell on a hike. So now I only use these shoes to walk the dog and everyday use.
I like the comfort of these shoes and would buy them again but in a 9.5 size.

Comments about KEEN Men's Targhee II Mid Waterproof Hiking Boots, Walnut:
Comfortable for work or play. I always have a pair handy.
Hiked Grand Canyon in a pair right out of the box, rim to rim with gear, but no blisters.
Only drawback is "Annie" likes them as well.
